About this skill
What is the Long-Form Content?
The Long-Form Content skill is the exact instruction set Okara’s Writer Agent follows when it writes a definitive guide. It captures how the agent scopes a pillar, researches for depth, architects the table of contents, and links the cluster — so you can see how an authoritative asset gets built.
It’s written as a SKILL.md, a plain-language instruction format that both people and AI agents can follow directly. Read it to understand how comprehensive content is structured, hand it to your team for consistency, or let the Writer Agent produce pillar pages against your topics.
Downloading the instructions is free with an Okara account. Running the skill continuously — building and maintaining the pillar guides that anchor your content strategy — is part of the Writer Agent.
Example
See it in action
You ask: “I want to own the topic "product-led growth." Write me the definitive guide.”
Agent does: This should be a pillar. I’ve scoped a 3,800-word guide and mapped eight subtopics into a cluster — the definition, the PLG funnel, activation, self-serve pricing, PLG vs sales-led, metrics, tooling, and case examples. Here’s the table of contents with jump links, then the full draft: each section answers one subquestion completely and links out to the supporting posts you should write next. I’ve added a metrics table, two worked examples, and flagged where original data would strengthen it further.
How it works
From input to fix list
- 1
You name the pillar topic
Give the Writer Agent a broad topic you want to own and the audience it serves.
- 2
Okara researches for depth
The agent gathers sources and data, then maps the subtopics and coverage gaps a shallow post would miss.
- 3
It architects the guide
A table of contents with logical flow and progressive depth, then a section-by-section draft that connects into one argument.
- 4
You get a linkable asset
A comprehensive guide with TOC, internal cluster links, data, and examples — built to rank and earn backlinks over time.
What's included
Everything it checks
Pillar scoping
Picks a topic broad enough to own and maps its subtopics into a linkable cluster.
Depth research
Pulls sources, data, and expert perspective, and finds the coverage gaps competitors leave open.
Architected structure
A table of contents with progressive depth and a heading hierarchy readers can navigate.
Section-by-section drafting
Each section stands alone as a useful answer while connecting to the whole guide.
Cluster internal linking
Links to and from supporting posts so the pillar anchors your topic cluster.
Compounding SEO asset
Comprehensive coverage and semantic depth built to rank and attract links over months.
