About this skill
What is the Copywriting?
The Copywriting skill is the exact instruction set Okara’s Writer Agent follows when it writes to convert. It captures how the agent sets the target, mines voice-of-customer language, translates features into benefits, and structures the persuasion toward a single action.
It’s written as a SKILL.md, a plain-language instruction format that both people and AI agents can follow directly. Read it to understand what separates copy that sells from copy that merely describes, hand it to your team, or let the Writer Agent produce conversion copy across your product, web, and email.
Downloading the instructions is free with an Okara account. Running the skill continuously to write and refine conversion copy across your funnel is part of the Writer Agent.
The gap between copy that informs and copy that sells rarely comes from talent — it comes from which questions got asked first. Teams default to describing what a product does because that’s the easiest sentence to write; naming what the reader gets requires knowing the reader, not just the feature list. That’s why this skill starts with voice-of-customer research instead of the blank page: the persuasive sentence is usually hiding in a support ticket or a sales call, not in a brainstorm.
Example
See it in action
You ask: “Rewrite our homepage subhead: "AI-powered analytics platform with real-time dashboards and custom reports."”
Agent does: That’s a feature list, not a pitch. Rewritten to the outcome: "Know what’s driving revenue before the week ends — not three reports later." The features become the proof underneath: real-time dashboards and custom reports as bullets that back the claim. It leads with the result your buyer wants, speaks in their words, and points to one CTA — "Start free" — instead of competing asks. I’ve added a specificity anchor and a one-line social proof to earn the click.
