# AI Text Humanizer

AI drafts fail in predictable ways: every sentence is the same length, every
paragraph opens the same way, and the whole thing hedges instead of committing.
This skill rewrites that flatness into prose a reader trusts, while keeping the
facts intact.

About this skill

What is the AI Text Humanizer?

The AI Text Humanizer skill is the exact approach Okara’s Writer Agent follows to rewrite AI-generated text so it reads like a person wrote it. It names the tells — uniform sentence length, endless hedging, abstract claims with no numbers behind them — and replaces each one with the thing a human writer would have done instead.

It’s written as a SKILL.md, a plain-language instruction format that people and AI agents can both follow. Use it to clean up a draft by hand, hand it to your own tooling, or let the Writer Agent apply it to everything it ships.

Downloading the instructions is free with an Okara account. Running the skill continuously — every article, email, and landing page rewritten in your voice — is part of the Writer Agent.

Example

See it in action

You ask: This blog intro is accurate but it reads like a robot wrote it. Fix it.

Agent does: First it names the tells: four sentences of near-identical length, two "it's important to note" hedges, and a claim that the tool "can significantly improve efficiency" with no number attached. Then it rewrites — opens with the concrete result (4.2s to 900ms), breaks the rhythm with a three-word sentence, deletes the connective scaffolding, and commits to the claim instead of hedging it. Facts stay exactly as they were; you get a change log showing every pattern it fixed and why.

How it works

From input to output

  1. 1

    You paste the draft

Give it the AI-written text, plus a writing sample if you want it to match a specific voice.

  2. 2

    Okara diagnoses the tells

The Writer Agent marks the flatness: uniform rhythm, hedged claims, abstract filler, and repeated openers.

  3. 3

It rewrites for rhythm and specifics

You get varied sentence length, concrete numbers in place of vague claims, and a real stance — with every fact preserved.

  4. 4

You publish with a change log

The agent shows what it changed and why, so you can keep the patterns out of your next draft.

What's included

Everything it covers

  • Tell detection

Flags the specific patterns that make text read as machine-written, line by line.

  • Rhythm variation

Breaks the uniform sentence length that gives AI prose its flat, metronome feel.

  • Specificity pass

Swaps abstract claims for concrete numbers, names, and outcomes from the source.

  • Hedge removal

Cuts "can potentially help" softeners and commits to the claim the draft is avoiding.

  • Voice matching

Matches a supplied writing sample so the rewrite sounds like you, not like generic human.

  • Fact preservation

Keeps every statistic, quote, and technical term intact — voice changes, truth does not.

Use cases

When to reach for it

  • Clean up an AI first draft before it goes to an editor or client.
  • Fix content that readers describe as generic or soulless.
  • Match a founder or brand voice across a batch of generated articles.
  • Turn a padded 1,200-word draft into a tighter 700 words that says more.
  • Standardize tone across content written by several different tools.
