About this skill
What is the Influencer Marketing?
The Influencer Marketing skill is the exact approach Okara’s Influencer Agent follows to run creator campaigns that produce attributable results. It selects on audience overlap rather than follower count, vets comment quality and past sponsored performance, briefs the message and constraints without scripting the creator, and sets measurement before anything launches.
It’s written as a SKILL.md, a plain-language instruction format that people and AI agents can both follow. Use it if past collaborations produced impressions and nothing else, or if you are entering a niche where a handful of creators hold the attention.
Downloading the instructions is free with an Okara account. Running the skill — creators sourced and vetted continuously, outreach handled, campaigns measured — is part of the Influencer Agent.
Example
See it in action
You ask: “We spent $40k on creators last quarter and got a lot of impressions and no signups.”
Agent does: It finds the three failure points. Selection: you bought reach, so it rebuilds the shortlist on audience overlap and asks for demographics before rates — an 8,000-follower creator whose audience is entirely your buyer beats a 400,000 one who mostly is not. Vetting: it reads the comments for substantive replies versus bot emoji, and checks each creator’s last five sponsored posts, because one whose sponsored content tanks against their organic has an audience that punishes ads and you would have been next. Briefing: your last brief scripted them into your brand voice, which destroyed the exact thing you were paying for — the new one gives message, constraints, and proof, and leaves format and words to them. Then measurement gets set before launch, with unique codes and a dedicated landing page, because impressions were never a result. It also budgets across several creators rather than one, since outcome variance in this channel is wide.
How it works
From input to output
- 1
You set the audience and budget
Share the product, who you want to reach, and what you can spend.
- 2
Okara shortlists on overlap
The Influencer Agent selects creators by audience fit and vets comment quality and past sponsored performance.
- 3
It briefs without scripting
Message, constraints, and proof go to the creator; format and voice stay with them.
- 4
You measure and repeat
Attribution is set before launch, and the creators who perform get extended into longer arrangements.
What's included
Everything it covers
Audience overlap selection
Shortlists on who follows a creator, not how many — demographics before rates.
Authenticity vetting
Reads comment quality and checks the last five sponsored posts for audience fatigue.
Outcome-based brief
Message and constraints without scripting away the voice you are paying for.
Commercial terms
Rate guidance, usage rights, exclusivity, and disclosure requirements in one place.
Pre-set attribution
Codes, landing pages, or survey questions agreed before launch — never impressions.
Repeat relationships
Turns performers into multi-post arrangements that read as genuine and cost less per placement.
